Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may create one account per person; multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.

2. What AudioSwap is

AudioSwap is a platform that connects audiobook publishers with listeners willing to exchange honest reviews for promo codes. We do not sell audiobooks, and we are not affiliated with Amazon or Audible. We facilitate connections and provide tools to help manage the exchange process.

3. Honest reviews

By using the Service, you agree to post only honest, independent reviews of audiobooks you have genuinely listened to. You must not post fake, incentivised, or misleading reviews, and you must comply with Audible’s and Amazon’s Community Guidelines at all times. Receiving a promo code does not obligate you to leave a positive review — only an honest one. We may suspend accounts found to be violating these principles or platform rules.

4. Publisher responsibilities

Publishers listing audiobooks on AudioSwap warrant that they hold the rights to distribute the promo codes they submit, that their listings are accurate, and that their use of AudioSwap complies with ACX, Audible, and Amazon policies. Promo codes submitted must be valid and redeemable at the time of listing.

5. Subscriptions, payments & renewals

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe until cancelled.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before any change affecting an active subscription.

6. Refunds & cancellation rights

Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have statutory cancellation (“cooling-off”) rights; note that for digital content and services you begin using immediately, those rights may be reduced once delivery has started with your consent. 7. Hours system

New users receive a starting hours balance. Claiming an audiobook costs hours; submitting a verified review earns hours back. Hours have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for cash. We may adjust the hours system with reasonable notice.

8. AI-generated content

AudioSwap uses third-party AI (Google Gemini) to generate draft review text based on publicly available information about audiobooks you have claimed. These drafts are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring any review you post is honest and reflects your genuine experience. Do not post AI-generated text as if it were your own authentic review without reading and editing it.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service; access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes; attempt to manipulate the hours or review system; or share access with others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the reviews and content you write. We retain ownership of the Service, our software, branding, and systems. We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal or publishing use while your account is active.

11. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion anonymises your personal fields (name, email, profile photo, Audible URLs) while preserving anonymised records needed for platform integrity. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

12. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that promo codes will result in reviews, that reviews will remain on Audible, or any particular outcome for publishers. Platform policies outside our control may affect review visibility.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country are not affected.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where required for security or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

15. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Publishinghub LLC is formed, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after material changes means you accept the updated Terms.
